Generally, industrial pure iron is extremely soft in texture, has great toughness, and has excellent electromagnetic properties. It meets the strict requirements for soft magnetic characteristics of the Pure Iron Core. The melting point of industrial pure iron is higher than that of iron, and it is less prone to rust in humid air. It can also be passivated in cold concentrated acid.
It has excellent electromagnetic properties. The coercive force (Hc) is low, the magnetic permeability μ is high, the saturation magnetic induction (Bs) is high, and the magnetic property is stable without magnetic aging. This ensures the stable and efficient operation of the Soft Magnetic Iron Cores for Relays.
The purity of the steel is high. The electromagnetic pure iron undergoes refining, so its internal structure is dense, uniform, excellent, and has low gas content. The finished product contains carbon at a maximum of ≤0.004%, which creates reliable conditions for users to simplify and shorten the annealing process of the Pure Iron Relay Core parts.
The cold and hot processing performance is good. Cold processing such as turning, boring, punching, bending, drawing... etc. are all without problems. For hot processing, such as re-melting and re-rolling, the sensitivity to red brittleness is low. Many grades have no red brittleness zone, and can be processed within a wide temperature range, facilitating the forming of the Core Pin.
The surface quality is good. It has good welding and electroplating properties, which can enhance the assembly and protection effect of the Cold Forging Relay Core.
The dimensional accuracy is high. We can provide ultra-precision cold-rolled plates, such as with a plate thickness of ≤1.05mm, the thickness tolerance can be ≤0.03mm; for plates with a thickness of >1.5mm, the thickness tolerance can be ≤±0.05mm, which can meet the precise dimensions requirements of the Pure Iron Core.
