For the switching contacts found in engine control systems, power windows, windshield wipers, and lighting relays, the Contact Tip Welding material must exhibit resistance to DC material transfer and withstand vibration. AgSnO2In2O3 (containing 3–5% In2O3) is the specialized grade designated for these applications.
