Silver Bonded Contact Components
Products Description

In the architecture of the low-voltage electrical world, if the contacts are the "heart" responsible for opening and closing, then the welding process is the "blood vessel" that maintains the heartbeat. We are proud to introduce our Silver Bonded Contact Components series, an integrated product in which high-performance silver alloy contacts (flat, disc or disc) are permanently fused to a copper or steel substrate through precision welding technology.
Different from cold-formed composite rivets, this series of products is specially designed for electrical connections in large capacity, high load, and harsh thermal environments. The flat or disc-shaped geometric shape gives the contacts the largest effective contact area; and the introduction of the welding process realizes the molecular-level bonding between the silver alloy functional layer and the conductive matrix. This is not only a contact, but also a precisely calculated electrical function module. It solves the risk of loosening of the traditional riveting process under high current impact and fills the technical gap of efficient integration between "high-performance contact materials" and "low-cost matrix carriers".
Manufacturing Advantages: Integrated Delivery from Materials to Components
| Automated Precision Welding Production Line | We have abandoned traditional manual flame brazing and adopted a fully automated six-axis robotic welding workstation. Combined with a vision positioning system, welding accuracy is controlled within ±0.05mm. Each tiny silver disc falls precisely into its predetermined position on the base, ensuring batch consistency, which is crucial for customers pursuing yield rates in millions of production runs. |
| Complex Component Integration Capability | Unlike simply selling contact rivets, we provide complete "contact + substrate" components. Whether it's static contacts needing to be welded to copper busbars or Welded Silver Contact Components needing to be welded to elastic springs, we can provide a one-stop manufacturing service including stamping, welding, leveling, and inspection. This model significantly reduces the number of steps on the customer's assembly line, lowering inventory management costs and equipment investment. |
| Vacuum and Atmosphere-Protected Welding | For easily oxidized substrate materials or high-performance silver alloys, we use protective atmosphere mesh belt furnaces or vacuum brazing processes. This eliminates oxide inclusions at the weld interface, resulting in a dense, non-porous weld. Under X-ray flaw detection, our weld bonding rate remains stable at over 98%, ensuring no localized overheating at the interface when high current passes through. |

Design advantages: empowering assembly processes and product innovation
Thin design support
For ultra-thin relays or low-profile switches, the tail space required for riveted structures often becomes a bottleneck for thickness reduction. Welded contacts can achieve extremely thin thicknesses of 0.3mm to 0.8mm, helping the product achieve a more compact overall size.
Special-shaped substrate adaptation
When the shape of the reed is complex and riveting, positioning holes cannot be provided; the welding process becomes the only feasible connection method. Our Silver Joint Contacts can be designed to match the contours of the substrate, allowing for precise positioning and reliable welding.
Multi-touch layout flexibility
When multiple contacts need to be arranged on the same reed, the welding process allows the independent positioning and welding of each Contact Assembly Welding, without being restricted by riveting molds and tooling.
Welding process window optimization
We can optimize the thickness, diameter, and surface condition of the contacts according to the type of customer's welding equipment (resistance welding, laser welding, induction welding) and process parameters, providing the widest process window and the highest welding yield.

Application scenarios and selection suggestions
Medium and high voltage relay manufacturing
Relay manufacturers can weld silver sheets to copper or brass contact arms, allowing them to control welding quality and production efficiency. Suitable for medium and large manufacturers with a monthly output of thousands to hundreds of thousands of pieces.
01
Switchgear integration
The static contacts of various transfer switches and selector switches can use welded silver sheets to simplify the contact seat design and reduce the overall structural complexity.
02
Customized electrical equipment
For electrical equipment with non-standard current levels or special structural requirements, welded silver sheets provide maximum design freedom, and sizes and materials can be customized as needed.
03
Repair and spare parts market
Equipment maintenance service providers can purchase standard specifications of silver sheets and perform welding and replacement according to on-site needs to reduce spare parts inventory costs.
04
R&D and prototyping
During the Silver Soldered Electrical Contacts development stage, small batches of silver sheets can be purchased for welding verification, and design solutions can be quickly iterated without investing in composite mold costs.
