Contact Resistance Stability

Employing Silver Tin Oxide Contact as the main arc contact material, it possesses excellent resistance to welding and arc erosion, making it particularly suitable for frequent switching under DC conditions. Compared to pure silver, the oxide layer formed by silver tin oxide under arc conditions is denser and more stable.

 

Dissimilar Material Composite Design

For applications requiring a balance of conductivity, thermal conductivity, and mechanical strength, we offer Bimetal Overlays for Button Contacts. The intermediate layer uses oxygen-free copper or copper alloy, significantly reducing overall temperature rise and improving heat dissipation.

 

Moving and Static Contact Matching

We provide the Fixed and Moving Contacts mating solutions. Based on the customer's expected switching cycles, rated current, and ambient temperature range, we optimise the contact shape and mating gap through finite element analysis (FEA) to avoid premature localised welding or excessive wear.

Core Forming and Welding Processes

Blank Forming: Standard specifications for Low Voltage Electrical Contacts are cold-forged and precision stamped; non-standard irregular sizes are achieved using CNC machining and laser cutting. Small-batch prototyping avoids high mould opening fees.

 

Composite Bonding: We use the Brazing Electrical Contacts process to achieve a silver-copper metallurgical composite, unlike adhesive bonding. The thermal stability of the bonding surface meets the requirements of -40℃ to 130℃ temperature cycling.

 

Final-End Welding: Our workshop is equipped with a full range of welding equipment and can undertake Silver Contact assembly. Specialised silver contact welding completes the welding of button contacts, achieving integrated semi-finished product delivery of contacts and terminals.
