Trimetallic Relay Contact

Trimetallic Relay Contact

Trimetallic Relay Contacts are three-layer composite conductive components designed specifically for precision electrical equipment such as industrial control relays and changeover switches. They are precisely composited from a silver alloy head layer, a copper substrate layer in the middle, and a silver alloy foot layer. As a highly efficient alternative to solid silver contacts, it significantly reduces material costs while maintaining electrical performance, making it a core innovative product in the high-end electrical component field.

Products Description

Trimetallic Relay Contact

In industrial control and high-load switching applications, the reliability of contacts directly determines the lifespan of the entire system. Our Trimetallic Relay Contacts are specifically designed to address the high cost of traditional solid silver contacts and the limited functionality of ordinary bimetallic contacts.

Our product features an advanced three-layer composition, integrating high-performance silver alloy at both ends with a highly conductive copper core. This Three Compound Contacts structure combines silver's superior arc resistance and low contact resistance with copper's exceptional thermal conductivity for effective heat dissipation. This sophisticated process offers a cost-effective, high-performance alternative to solid silver contacts for global clients.

The technology of these Ag/Cu/Ag Tri-metal Contact Rivets has extremely high barriers to entry, and there are few domestic suppliers with stable mass production capabilities. With more than 30 years of experience in electrical metal solutions, we have achieved high-precision and high-reliability mass production, which can meet the stringent requirements of industrial customers worldwide.

Product Features and Functions

Double-Side Contacts

As Trimetal Moving Contacts, both the top and bottom ends of the contact have silver alloy working layers, perfectly suited for double-sided closing switch scenarios.

Excellent Thermal Conductivity

The middle copper layer acts as a "heat sink," quickly dissipating heat generated by the electric arc and reducing the burn-off rate of Trimetal Rivet Contacts.

Strong Anti-Welding Performance

The silver alloy material at the head is specially formulated to effectively prevent Trimetal Electrical Rivets from sticking together under high current impact.

Product Details and Features

Precise Silver Layer Control

The silver layer thickness of the Electric Double Metal Contact Rivet's head and feet can be precisely customized (0.1mm~0.5mm), ensuring the optimal balance between electrical performance and cost.

Metallurgical bonding process

Our high-temperature diffusion welding process creates an atomic-scale bond between silver and copper, guaranteeing complete interface integrity. The result is a contact that withstands over 10,000 thermal cycles with zero evidence of separation or soldering defects.

Precision dimensional tolerances

The outer diameter and length tolerances of the Ag/Cu/Ag Tri-metal Contact Rivets are controlled within ±0.02mm, suitable for automated assembly and high-precision relay structures.

Surface treatment

The high-precision Trimetal Silver Electrical Contact features a bright and clean silver layer surface, free of oxidation and burrs, ensuring low contact resistance and stable conductivity.

Manufacturing Process

Material Preparation Trimetal Moving Contacts are made from high-purity copper rods and silver alloy sheets through precision machining, ensuring uniform composition and no impurities.
Composite Molding Using high-temperature diffusion welding technology, the silver alloy sheet and copper rod are composited in three layers to form the Trimetal Multi-Layer Riveted Contacts blank.
Precision Cold Forging High-speed cold forging is used to form a riveted structure, controlling the dimensional accuracy and surface finish of the Trimetal Composite Rivet Terminals.
Post-processing Deburring, cleaning, and annealing to eliminate internal stress and improve the mechanical stability of AgCuAg Composite Rivet Contacts.
Finished product inspection 100% inspection of the silver layer thickness, bonding strength, dimensional tolerances, and surface quality of Double Sides Contacts to ensure compliance with customer standards.
