Cylindrical Bushings are typically made of materials such as cast iron or steel. Cast iron bearing sleeves offer good wear resistance and vibration-damping properties, effectively reducing noise and vibration during operation, and are relatively inexpensive. Steel bearing sleeves have high strength and hardness, providing robust support for rotating shafts. Their performance can be further enhanced through appropriate heat treatment. Some front axle bearing sleeves may also be made of plastic or composite materials. Plastic Shaft Sleeves have a low coefficient of friction, require no lubrication, and are corrosion-resistant, making them suitable for environments where lubrication is difficult or chemically corrosive. Composite bearing sleeves combine the advantages of multiple materials, such as high strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and good embeddability, thus providing excellent overall performance.
