NH Fuse Ceramic Body

NH Fuse Ceramic Body

In traditional power protection systems, fuses are not only the last line of defense for circuit safety, but the quality of their internal critical insulation components also directly affects the stability and lifespan of the equipment. The NH Fuse Ceramic Body, a yellow square ceramic body, is specifically designed for the standard NH series fuse structure. As the core insulation and load-bearing component of the fuse, it provides durable, reliable, and safe performance in complex electrical environments. This product is not designed for new energy scenarios but is widely used in mature industrial power distribution, power systems, and traditional equipment protection fields.

Products Description

NH Fuse Ceramic Body

Unlike the white alumina ceramics commonly used in the new energy industry, the NH Fuse Ceramic Body widely utilized, specially formulated yellow aluminosilicate/talc porcelain:

High-frequency insulation characteristics: It possesses an extremely low dielectric loss factor, maintaining stable insulation impedance even under high current frequency fluctuations.

Oxidation and corrosion resistance: The yellow glaze (or unglazed surface) undergoes special physical treatment, effectively resisting moisture, industrial acid mist, and chemical corrosion from arc-suppressing sand.

Thermal expansion matching: Specifically designed to match the thermal expansion coefficients of traditional copper or brass end caps, preventing contact loosening due to thermal stress during temperature rise cycles.

Production Process: The Craftsmanship Chain from Clay to Porcelain

Raw Material Selection

Strictly selected high-purity clay, feldspar, and quartz are used to ensure the characteristic color and physical strength of the yellow porcelain body through chemical proportions for the Ceramic Body for DC Fuse Link.

01

Standardized Ball Milling

Continuous ball milling for over 24 hours achieves micron-level particle size distribution.

02

Vacuum Forming

Eliminating air from the interior of the green body improves the material's density and electrical insulation strength.

03

High-Temperature Firing

Firing is carried out in a high-temperature reducing atmosphere above 1300°C.

04

Fine Grinding and Cleaning

Mechanical fine grinding of the end faces removes burrs, ensuring a perfect fit with the metal contact blade assembly.

Detailed Showcase

A close examination of each Fusing Electronic Ceramic element reveals meticulous engineering attention to detail: a uniform, matte light yellow surface free from sintering color variations, spots, or cracks; rounded corners and uniform wall thickness with no noticeable gradient deviation; smooth, straight inner walls supporting dense, gap-free sand filling; flat, vertical end faces with high parallelism ensuring zero-gap assembly of the end caps; all edges precisely rounded to prevent stress concentration and assembly scratches; optional uniform local metallization layer to enhance sealing strength; standardized laser marking positions supporting batch traceability and quality management. This meticulous attention to detail collectively ensures the ceramic element's reliable arc-extinguishing performance, structural integrity, and high engineering usability in traditional NH fuse applications.
