Powder Coated Bus Bars

Powder Coated Bus Bars

In modern data centers, UPS uninterruptible power supply systems and high-density server power supply architectures, busbars not only undertake the task of current transmission but also directly affect system safety, thermal stability, and long-term operational reliability. Powder Coated Bus Bars achieve a balance between conductivity and structural protection by constructing a dense insulating protective layer on a highly conductive metal surface, making them a widely adopted engineering-grade solution in high-end power systems.

Products Description

Powder Coated Bus Bars

Powder Coated Bus Bars use high-purity copper or aluminum as the base conductor, with a uniform insulating layer formed on the surface through electrostatic spraying. After high-temperature curing, a continuous, dense, and mechanically strong protective interface is achieved. Compared to traditional heat-shrink tubing or tape insulation, powder coating is an integrated insulation structure with higher consistency and stronger environmental resistance.

Its core structure includes:

Highly conductive metal substrate: ensuring low impedance and excellent current-carrying capacity

Thermosetting powder insulation layer: forming stable electrical isolation and surface protection

Interface bonding layer: improving adhesion and peel resistance

Customizable end treatments: adaptable to screwed, welded, or composite connection structures

This multi-layered synergistic structure gives the busbar electrical, mechanical, and environmental stability.

Manufacturing Advantages: Lean Manufacturing and Customization Capabilities

Fully Automated Coating Line

Utilizing fluidized bed or electrostatic spraying technology, we ensure coating thickness tolerance is controlled within 0.05mm/pm, meeting the assembly requirements of precision electronic equipment for Epoxy Powder Coating Insulated Copper Busbar.

High-Precision Forming Process

Equipped with a multi-axis CNC bending center, ensuring near-zero conductive cross-sectional area loss at bends during the forming of high-current thick busbars.

Surface Pretreatment

Rigorous degreasing, pickling, and phosphating processes enhance the coating's corrosion resistance and long-term stability.

Class 10,000 Cleanliness Control

For server-grade customers, the production environment is strictly dust-controlled to prevent breakdown risks caused by impurities in the insulation layer for Insulated Copper Bus Bar.

Material Advantages and Design Innovation: From Microscopic Material Selection to Macroscopic Architecture

Deep Application of Materials Science

We focus not only on conductivity but also on the compatibility of material interfaces in our material selection for Epoxy Spray Copper Battery Bus Bar.

Substrate Selection

We use high-purity T2 copper or 6063 aluminum alloy to ensure low impedance. For copper-aluminum transition requirements, we employ friction or flash welding processes and coat the weld seams to eliminate the risk of corrosion arising from potential differences at the contact surface.

Powder Coating Formulation

Based on the UPS application scenario, we have customized a mixed formulation of epoxy resin and polyester resin. Epoxy resin provides excellent adhesion and insulation, while polyester resin provides superior UV resistance and weather resistance. The combination ensures that the coating does not become brittle or peel off under long-term power-on heating conditions.

Engineering Freedom in Design

Powder coating technology gives the Epoxy Powder Coated Busbar Insulation design a high degree of freedom. For complex UPS internal structures, we support:

Multi-dimensional Bending: Supports three-dimensional bending designs. The coating not only does not peel off at the bending points but also becomes more robust due to the uniform tension distribution.

Customized hole positions and interfaces: All punching and tapping processes are completed before spraying, and the connecting surfaces are precision-machined to ensure flatness of the overlapping surfaces and minimize contact resistance. The coating around the mounting holes is smooth, without powder accumulation or drips, ensuring good contact of the mounting gaskets.
